Just installed Win 10. :D
About time they have done a good job on it.
I have not gone into the guts and glory side of it yet but what a HUGE improvement over bloody 8.x.
It is certainly a bit quicker than win 7, my favorite.
So far so good.
If any one is interested I will report back later.
If you do have win 8 or 8.1. Get rid of it.

Just got a new pc today...
Was on 7 before, trying out 8 and then see what happens with 10!!!!!!!

No problems folk's.
Found only one thing yet.
Forced Auto Updates.
Just been belting the crap out of it for performance and so far holding up
very, very well.
Thank God the Start Menu is back.
Slightly different than what you normally expect in Win 7 Backwards but, It is fully customizable.
And brilliant.
About time Microsoft finally listened to their people.
1st points I give it is ease of use.
Very easy to navigate.
.
More Coming.
If you want to jump the Que,
Down load the tool and let it down load the ISO file then burn a DVD.
Run it from within Windows as an Administrator.
Be aware whether you have a 32 Bit or 64 Bit system.
Even though this went through from Win 7 without a Drama, Back your files up first.
The upgrade for me installed and left all my files and associated programs intact.
It only bombed my Printer but that is for tomorrow.
Have Fun.

Tathrad LOL so why would you tell people to get windows

I do not wish to start an operating system war.
I am about to tell a mate of mine to get Apple systems for his printing business.
Neither Windows or Linux can handle what he wants
so enjoy what you like my friend.
.
Oh, As a parting shot, I just set up a multi camera system.
Ubuntu with Ispy fully compiled and running.
.
Please, No O.S. Wars.
Thank You. ;)

Could never understand the winging about windows 8 myself. My first operating system was DOS, used everything else in between. Never had a problem after a day of learning the changes. Loved the tiles(metro) as all programs/search engines all in one convenient place. I'll load up 10 in the next few days only because I like to keep current but I certainly won't be bashing 8 as i actually liked it.

I dont like the idea of forced updates, there is one windows update that will invalidate my win7 install. Wonder if win10, still has the option to block certain updates.
