After a bit of research on camp cots i bought on an oztrail jumbo single cot, rated to 15okg and no cross bars, very solid and stable, my local camp store price matched snowy's $1o4 on sale so didn't have to wait on the uncertain post at the moment, also aWeisshorn inflatable mattress, waiting for Vic to open up.

Very pleased with it!
Only 12 punctures so far so my plug kit and compressor is getting a fair work out but the new 10ply tyres on there way should help with that.

Nice ride MT. I stuck with the standard tyres on our new quads because of the ride. I had the tough tyres on the Suzuki and they wouldn't even go flat when the air ran out but I could feel every little bump. I've given them a dose of Slime and that seems to do the trick but we still carry patches and a pump.

Thanks MB, the standard tyres on these things are 4 ply Carlisle which are just the crap factory stuff. I'd go 16ply if they made them.
The suspension on these things are pretty amazing as you can see by the size of the springs.

Hi Tuna.

We had the same problem, being constant punctures with the Carlisle stock tyres.

It is mainly their open tread pattern, more than the wall ply thickness, too much casing exposed to the scrub and rock etc.

After much investigation these are what solved the problem for us, by 95% .

Artrax Countrax. ATV Quad Buggy Tyres 6 Ply. Ours were $ 175.00 each.

Absolute bliss.

Best Regards, ozziegold

Cheap and cheerfull are often the best. :)

I was offered a commercial unit.
4 burner with a 19 mm thick stainless plate on it.

Wish I had taken it up.

I cooked on one for a few mouths in a take away place and once they are hot enough,
Sears a steak perfectly then move them over to a cooler patch to finnish off.
