Sapphire Pump

Ingredients- 1x 1-1.5 meter 50mm plastic pipe.1x 40mmx 2.5mm coach bolt.1x wooden broom handle.1 pair rubber thongs.Mix all of the above together and you've got yourself a pump that makes yabbies head for the hills.Sappfires laying in the deep creek washes just don't stand a chance.

IVe gotta get a new camera.Basically the pump is made out of a 1.5 meter 50mm piece of pipe.You get a broom handle and drill a hole in the end.You then cut a pair of round pieces out of your thongs and screw them to the end of broomstick with a decent washer either side.Put a cap on the broom end after drilling a hole for handle and another small relief valve hole so the air and water are ejected.Make sure your thongs are cut nice and round and a tad larger to increase suction.If you don't get any gems its always good for giving love bites.I must say though ill be taking a a couple hundred mils of the end of the pipe and the handle so its more easily accessible for tighter cracks.Oh and its a nice coach screw that's screwed into the end of the handle to hold the thong plugs and washers.cheers
