What an awesome long exposure this is. 646 seconds. Captures the launch, re entry, (top of image) and landing burns in one image.

And a fine launch it was. Love the view looking back to the Launchpad ... :perfect:

And what a launch by Spacex and Falcon Heavy... Is there any footage taken of the Fairing capture? I have been looking but haven't seen any as yet... By the looks of it they only just caught it...

I did see a short clip of the fairing capture on Fakebook. I will try track it down.

A view from inside the fairing from the last falcon 9 launch.

Not sure if you can see this without a Twitter account.

"View from the fairing during the STP-2 mission; when the fairing returns to Earth, friction heats up particles in the atmosphere, which appear bright blue in "

More info released about the Dragon capsule exploding. It seems a chemical reaction between the oxidizer and a titanium valve was the cause. A simple fix to replace the valve with a burst disc. Not something Spacex likes as the discs cannot be individually tested. Spacex does not generally use parts that cannot be tested but I guess they need to in this case.

A detailed report..... https://www.teslarati.com/spacex-cr...EKJjwgOYjd6NAIE5xXqLT8q-cU4oNkAUlVmKBu1ld3zNk
