I was going to ask if the end is Ivory or whale tooth as it looks like silver to me. Bit hard to tell from the photo.

If it is it might be worth getting it restored as it could be quite valuable.

Useing my new Diamond Digger purchassed from Anger Menagement What a great peice of kit. Cuts roots like butter clean,quick holes speeding up recovery & replacement of turf with minimal signs of demage. Anyhoo ad over. Today i found myself searching a park with sandstone getters & sandstone buildings across the road. circling each large tree one by one my persistance paid off 1946 Florin. 2 pennies 2 hp. 50c. 2c 1c.

Stick em up mister. I wasnt sure what i had i first thought plpe or plumbing. As it slowly revealed itself. I delicately removed the surrounding dirt exposing this very near complete pistol.
