2 years for 1 piece previously with a standard coil. Those standard coils really are pretty ordinary when you compare them to the nugget finders.

I haven't been out for a swing since the Easter meet-up but had today free so took off early this morning to check out a place I've been researching.
Turns out there's rusty junk targets everywhere, but being thorough and digging every signal resulted in a nice little bit of yella and about 30 rust nugs for a 20x20m area using the 17x11 NF Advantage coil.
Just glad to get back out for the day after a very busy few weeks.

EDIT: I have had my 4500 set up wireless since seeing Gravity's 5000 at Easter, oh boy what a difference it makes, now I can walk away to pee instead of dragging the detector along

Well 3 arvos of using the zed and all I can say is I am an idiot for waiting so long to get one. Picked up this nice nugget yesterday on a patch which I have flogged to death (found my best nugget there). Very happy with my purchase.

I spent 2 hours in the drizzle and was rewarded with this little 0.5g ...I guess it made me feel a little bit better, rather than just feeling wet!

Couple of tiny fellas the zed picked up. Amazed by the sensitivity of the beast to the small stuff. Been going back over stuff I have flogged to see the difference.

Got a loan of a 4500 from my great mate Diggerman60 for a try out on the lease, its defo lighter than the 7000 and I found it to be a little more sensitive! Found 1 half gram bit where I got the specie (same hole) the other 3 up the same creek! I like it quite a lot, and may be convinced to get one now? Few more days will see what I can pick up next trip? :Y:
But I did dig a few targets that disappeared after I started digging? Practice will make perfect me thinks! :8
