Meeting the bloke who just purchased my Aldi detector.

The enthusiasm as he talked about his recent discovery of Hill End made me smile and the look in his eyes when he talked about finding a coin or relic when he returned with the Aldi made it even bigger.

I turned 57 today, and was working in the shop when my 9 year old daughter offered to make me lunch. When I went out to eat it this is what I found on the table
