Today I bought a new GPX4500 and external speaker From Shane at Miners Den in Adelaide hopefully it will be here Monday. Can't wait. Will have to put in a bit of practice before we go to Wedderbern in Apri. Yes changed from St. Arnauds again !

Nice - here comes the gold.....

I just ordered the pan set from MD today as well.

Not as good as the 4500 but still can't wait to get out panning.

There's some top quality gear in there, the rifle bags would make an awesome detector travel bag  :Y:
And that snow ghillie suit could be the funniest thing I could wear at Perisher this year, smashing down the mountain in that would turn a lot of heads and the ones wearing the silly animal costumes would run in fear for their lives  :Y:     Hmmm there's a thought

You put on that Ghillie Suit and some folks would pee em selves, Lol,,

Even more so if you did it while on a Day trip to Kilcoy QLD,

That site has some good Camel Back Packs that hold up to about 2.5 litres of water and more and some great little tents and Bivi's. and the prices are good too.

Ahh since you mentioned camel packs, for Christmas I got this.......
https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...ved=0ahUKEwj7-aKIysPSAhUHHpQKHUA9BSwQ_AUIBigB
Ogio Flight Vest, soooo comfortable, even with weight it still feels like a jacket vest with the pockets full, the weight distribution is brilliant  :Y:
A spare coil wouldn't fit in it unless it was a sniper coil but has taken a lot of stress off my back from using a back pack on the beach, haven't been riding with it yet :(

Nice, I could do with one like that, I have a couple of the Tac Vests but they don't have a bladder in them, That is one part of my gear that I have neglected.

mine also have a huge pocket in the back, I am sure I could fit a 14x10 coil in it, It has a heap of pockets and the worse part is remembering what I put in each one

The back pocket isn't wide enough is it only real flaw, but I think you could probably hang one off the back some how just can't bring myself to modify anything on it, maybe with one of these little guys, I've missed a few pages, everyones been shopping lately

Yep that's all you need, I have one olive green Vest and one Black, they are both the same, They have 14 pockets, the one on the back measures about 17x10 and there is another large one inside that measure 11x7 on the right and a zipper pocket inside on the left plus 12 more on the outside,

so you could carry a large coil in the back and a 6x10 inside plus about a weeks supply of tucker id needed, Lol.

I must have been playing too much then I have reading glasses :/

Off to Wedderburn sometime in April with my Wife.

Looked at the DVD at 6:00 pm unpacked 4500 at 6:30 pm assembled by 8:30 pm yep 2 hours, but I was very fussy. If you knew what you were doing probably 1/2 hr. or so. I like the way it's made it all fits together very well although if you were in hurry or heavy handed I could see someone breaking something. I have a fairly small frame so the harness is pretty much pulled up to max. The machine once setup properly is so light to swing it just floats. The SDC is quite heavy compared to it.
Put the external speaker on, charged the battery and turned machine on had a bit of a play to make sure all the bells and whistles worked and switched it off, didn't take it outside as it was dark and I was starving by then. Eating as I type this. Need to make a cover for it soon.

To compare the SDC to the 4500, Landcruser to a truck, the 7000 would have to be a Mack B Double. The SDC is so easy to set up and go though. My wife will be finding gold before I leave I recon :)

To be continued.
