Some More Gold with the Nokta Fors Gold

Hi, what depth were the nuggets found ?

1/2 inch . I was working an old creek bed with lots of crevices etc

I did some air tests with the nuggets , and for the bigger one , 6 inches was possible

Out of interest, were you in All-metal mode or one of the Disc modes?

Just a bit of info for anyone that might be interested.
The Fors Gold is basically a Fors CoRe, expect the CoRe has black coils and shaft, and an added COG (salt) mode. Both units are 15 kHz.

The newer Fors Gold+ is 19 kHz, comes standard with 10x5" and 5" round DD coils, and has an adjustable iSAT in all-metal, which basically allows you to maintain a steady threshold with the maximum amount of Sensitivity for the ground type. The Gold+ though doesn't have the COG (salt mode), or the DI3 3-tone mode.

I was using Boost mode , the Gen mode is next to useless , wavering all over the place !
