I haven't posted in this topic for a while. There have been some great launches and new developments in the space industry. I will try do an update on Spacex and the exciting new launches and developments they have made.
For today I just wanted to let everyone know that the Mars Insight mission will be landing on Mars just before 7 am tomorrow morning, 27th November AEDT. It will be broadcast live and here is a link. Currently about 16 hours until landing and streaming some relevant info on times, distance from earth and to mars etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGygZlegBlc

So true Ramjet the Space Race is well and truly On... I have been watching at what is happening with Spacex, And The aborted Russian launch and things went perfect with that one, A wild ride that would have been .
There was Soo much going on, I didn't know where to start or want to hijack your thread....
Space must be getting just as busy as our Roads with the amount of launches going on... Something like 8 in November alone...
Spacex, Boeing and NASA have announced that in Jan 2019 will be their first crewed testing... with a launch and Ascend test for each... And things are Hotting up with the Parker Solar Probe Too...pun intended...
Shame about OPPY not responding after the Dust storm on Mars too.... I have sent a postcard but it may not arrive till 2025... Post is slow up there... {)
One thing im disappointed with is that Spacex has renamed the BFR... It is now 'Starflight'... in reference to their goal for Mars...
My Daughter has got me some Flight Patches for Xmas and im stoked...
