Video and a couple of nice images from today's launch. Another successful launch, without a hitch.

The Electron launch, "It's Business Time" is several months late. Not sure why and the ability to have short lead in times was one of their touted abilities. Still ironing out the bugs I guess.

Another company trying to get in on the small satellite launch market. An air launch system similar to Virgin Galactic and the Pegasus launcher.

"Ravn is designed to launch every 180 minutes,"

Meanwhile SpaceX has the Crew Dragon at Nasa being tested in a vacuum with extremes of temperature. Geting closer to manned missions.

Today's Rocketlab launch has been scrubbed as a result of problems with their Chatham Islands tracking centre. Weather outlook is poor and they're unsure when the launch can be rescheduled.

Rocket Lab canned again today. Haven't seen why as yet. Six July for the next attempt.

Other interesting news. Looking at the 1st image below we see where SpaceX "parks" it's 2nd stages generally. In the 2nd image we see the area they have sort permission for the next launch, CRS-15 on June 29th. The area with the orange balls and border is the launch path, with no recovery again. The other, larger, pale area is assumed where the 2nd stage may come down. Some fans much smarter than me have guesstimated that this may be the very 1st in a long string of flights to try recover the 2nd stage. Assuming there will be recovery attempt this time but a first flight return to collect data, test performance for re entry etc. Cool stuff IMHO.

Another faultless launch. It seems they have made launching into space as a pretty standard day at the office. I guess it will become an every day event like planes taking off. That is the type of schedule and reliability that Spacex is aiming for.

They are that common, they don't even televise anymore.. The Kiwi's got a 1min segment on the news the other night, but no update on whats going on... :N:

1/2 the American public wouldn't even be aware of a launch, That's why 911 got so many calls last time... the Next few days there should be some great pics and vids on the Interweb... :)

Now lets get into the Landings of the block 5's... That's the fun stuff... :D
