That must be the clock toy key never seen anything like that, is it from a tin wind up car toy?

A quick gogle search shows it used in many wind up toys.

I never seen one with a key, really thought it would look like a old clock key not like that

I saw the reproductions in my research. By where mine was and how deep... it's an original IMHO.

Yes I check around any finds. Amazing how many times you foind one coin then grid around it to pull a few more.

Nice hunting RJ, that 1912 6d has a nice pointy looking star, how many pearls in the crown band on the other side, I'd not clean that one, just put it away till the skill level is absolute.

I'm on night shift so had a bit of a swing at my local relic spot. Happy with the results and I can always find a little corner or section I haven't covered properly. I am still using the Deus and playing around with some of the new features on the V4. I currently have 3 versions of my regular program and will add a 4th before I go out again. The first is running the V4 filters, the 2nd is the exact same settings but running the V3 filters and the last is v4 but running on a lower frequency. This helps to determine bottle tops and iron. I will add one using the V2 filters and it's all just an experiment to see the differences.

So today's hunt... Find of the day is probably the best Rising Sun badge I have found and it still has both loops on the back. It should clean up nicely.
