No worries Danny. Maybe post them in the Minelab section and start a topic on CTX settings? Just a thought ;)

What a great day!. Haven't had such a good hunt in a long time. Met up with another local at a site he suggested. I wasn't keen as I lived nearby and it was just overgrown back then. He went into the park but I spied a small bit of land across the road. Maybe 1/4 acre in size. Almost every one of my finds came from an area about the size of a single car garage with very little outside that area. Must have been a shop or newsstand or maybe a tram stop as that particular street used to have a tram line in it.

First Pic. Pulled out a plug and it looked to me like the impression of a penny and a thrip. I was proved wrong as after I took the pic I re scanned the hole and the total was 2 pennies and 2 thrips. Happy days. :D A couple of the coins are really nice. Specially the 1936 thrip.
The 2nd lst pic I think may be the end off a ladies belt or similar. The last pic is three shots of the same item. I have no idea.

Surprise surprise ;)
Unexpected results like that are even sweeter :D
Top hunt :Y:
I see you have stepped up to 60's now... nice tactic

Brilliant patch of ground Rod, 26 predecimals is a pretty damed good result! Amazing how a matter of only a few metres can mean the difference between an ordinary day and a fantastic day. ;)

The Deus does have a tendancy to be very good at pulling out those smaller/thinner coins, the 50/50 silvers can register a lot lower tone than expected when located very deep, hence are often mistaken for junk targets.

Agreed GP. I was digging every signal today. Not a huge amount of modern trash.

Nice RJ  :Y: sounds like my spot  just over the back but there's not many left now :(
Nice looking silver 8)

Bout time you had your day in the sun mate ,... full on collection happening all in one go, and talk about feathers hey, that 36 has a chooks back like a feather duster.
The unknown item looks like it has a flip back section to enable greasing a shaft end while it is in motion ,.... what it is off though I have no idea, soo many things are lost to us in time once we go back to the time of mowing with a scythe. :D

My dad who was a builder, when Jesus wore short pants, said the item is definitely a "latch off a casement window." :D
