I'm in Perth mate, with no experience of gemstone hunting whatsoever. I was just trying to save you from wasting time waiting on a reply that may never come.

I know Barney quite well mate, yeah as Grubstake mentioned he hasn't been here for a while.

Though I know 100% for certain that the rubies in this thread that Barney found are not from the Barrington Tops area. They are just tiny chips as well as I've seen them.
