I've had trial lasting 7 days where an electrode is passed up the epidural of the spine and it seemed to work ok for a while. I was called each of the 7 days to see how it was going and I told them, you know on a scale of 1-10 how my pain level was. It was - to me between 4 and 6. So it had improved from 7's and 8's down to as low as 4.
Last Monday I had the trial lead removed and was told the pain would return after a cuppla days. It did. So now I have to wait till 28/4/18 to have the device fully implanted, the electrode up my spine and the control box implanted in one of my bum cheeks. I watched a Youtube video of the implant procedure and it looks pretty straight forward. That's a $3750 out of pocket procedure.
I spoke with another patient who was having an implant done using a Boston Tech. implant and he said the Nevro,which I had trialled, didn't work for him. I am seriously thinking of trialling the Boston Tech unit and see how it goes. The video I saw was performed using 2 electrodes and the other patient said he was getting a much better result with the Boston unit after also trialling the Nevro. So I am ringing the Specialist's rooms on Monday and discuss that with them. I don't think that's a bad idea.
My wife Carolyn says that I was being "myself" you know cheerful and not whinging as much during the Nevro trial so it did do some work for me.
Let's see what the Specialist has to say about trying a different device.

Dun and Bradstreet are a legitimate collection agency.
I had the same concerns about 6 months ago.
I asked them to send me a copy of the bill so I knew what was outstanding and to whom and that it was legit.
After a while I did get a copy and it turns out that I still had an outstanding balance from an old account whom I rang and they confirmed that to be correct.
I said it seems a bit unfair as I never received the final statement, so Dun and Bradstreet offered for me to pay half and that would be the end of the matter.
I haven't heard anything more after I paid.
So do your due diligence and make sure that it truly is an outstanding amount.
Sometimes believe it or not it actually is.

Just rec an email purporting to be from Dun&bradstreet on behalf of Origin Energy looking for an outstanding amount of $51.00.

Pay direct to account to avoid further legal proceedings etc etc.

I wonder how much they actually get paid by people caught up in this.

It is probably legit, companies like Dun & Bradstreet buy bad debts off companies like Origin where the amount is too small for them to chase themselves. Might be worth giving Origin a call, they should be able to sort it out for you.

Yeah Jaros, I got one on my mobile by sms saying I had won their monthly draw of $2000. Deleted it immediately.

I do the same thing. I ask them all sorts of questions about their personal hygiene and sexual preferences ... that is when they usually hang up.
