That's crazy Capa, just saw that 2nd hand LF coil for $50, better be quick - 91% markdown. I recieved the new 9" LF coil this morning, brand spanking new down from $480 to $150, will run it through an update to ensure it is on the same page as the other three coils.

Is this 2nd 9 inch coil you have? I have dilemma now. X35 is keep coming up to my mind. Not too much of frequency but new circuit is slightly better than older one. Can give crisper signal and slightly deeper and better battery life... I can see this dealer want to get rid of old models quickly. IF I started off with 9 inch coil, I would definitely buy that 11 inch 2nd hand coil! I have oval HF coil so it is like 9 inch coil side, so really , I do`nt need to buy...BUT Prices are crazy! I sleep on it!

But It comes with spare rod? That is handy! :perfect:

Yes it's the second 9" coil I have, the other being the White HF one - all Deus coils come with a spare bottom rod. Still feel that I have plenty to learn on my current coils without the need to purchase an X35 at the moment - probably no justification unless I was to sell a couple of coils to upgrade.

WS5 headphones for $300, what is going on? Dammit, I just bought Deteknix WireFree HD headphones from Nenad. Life is just cruel sometimes.

Different house site yesterday from the past few, got 14 predecimals that I had overlooked on the last trip and continued with a few more this time. Ran with the 11" LF coil, it actually ran a lot quieter than the HF coil thanks to not being overly sensitive to all the small non-ferrous targets thay litter this site. First target was the cool "Ned Kelly" pistol, haven't seen too many Australian themed ones around lately - if it still had its barrel it would be a rather heavy toy. Was happy with the three silvers, the 1943 sixpence is in "like dropped yesterday condition", and always happy to pocket yet another rams head shilling.

Another nice find was my third 1945 WW2 school Victory Medallion, by far the cleanest example found so far, plus a Vintage Anzac Day pin which I initially thought was just junk until the pin end jabbed me in the finger.

I could probably detect for relics here time and time again and still not scratch the surface, always a nice spot for a relaxing detect and a few added surprises. :D

I watched one of NQexplorers videos on YouTube just the other day and he found one in Tasmania.

i have watched many of his vids, but gave up as so many times you see his unfilled or partly filled holes as he moves on 8.(
the vid from hillend is a classic example :8

I love that Ned Kelly, I saw some one also founding Ned Kelly gun on Youtube... I love that 1945 medal! :100: :Y: :Y: :Y:

Same spot as previous, still a reasonable amount of coppers around though no silver made a showing. The coppers are all in pretty good condition aside from the one with George having his head blown off - guessing .303. Also found another saw medallion labelled "Warranted Superior" with an eagle motif, a patterned copper pin, AWA radio badge, and possibly part of a cuff link. Really had to work hard to find any coins this time around with most being on edge, might move onto somewhere else next time around - hopefully some older finds. :D
