Was going for the Richmond and thought they were going to be outplayed until the coach put a Tiger in their tanks. .
Was sorry to see Gary Ablett struggling in his last game as was Harry Taylor, end of an era for two of our greatest sportsmen.

I love the game but stopped following in about 89 when you could see the greed coming into it and the push for a national comp. Many would say it is a good thing but I believe the community spirit was lost in the grab for money.
I grew up next to the g and was there every Saturday afternoon, no matter who played.
And yes, I used to be a Richmond supporter and I' have never turned around when they are winning big like they have in the last few years.
I admire the athleticism and courage of these lads and still like to watch a good game of footy but I just don't follow any team.
