Cheap metal detectors

The coil looks like the generic one found on a lot of cheap detectors, same as my Aldi. When working in partnership with a pin pointer they are great for coil/relic hunting.

I found several gold rings with my Aldi, plus a few thousand bucks in goldies, quite a few silvers too and numerous silver rings. It paid for my CTX well and truly. Some of these detectors do work ok but are nowhere near as nice to use as a premium brand.

i have an aldi an ya right no where near premium :Y:

just about any cheap detector will find shallow coinage as long as you are fortunate to walk over it , but crap to coin ration increases dramatically :Y: a mate payed for his over priced 705 with an aldi then it payed for his nox on the same grounds , a pattern forms with the evolution
