Okay, what am I? I was built as a memorial to the fallen diggers after World War I, but planning began before the end of the war.

Heard today on the radio they found dynamite in a cliff face used during construction from 1932 just in the last week or two :eek:.
 
The Emu war? It's hard to believe the government mobilised the military to (fairly unsuccessfully) cull emus...
