Usually when I get one of these calls it is apparent straight away that it is not a mate or the misses as they take a while to answer when you say hello, so I flick the phone to speaker and put it down on the table and continue what I am doing, when they hang up I'll reset the phone.

John :y I used a Nikon D810 with a70-200 f2 Tamron zoom. ISO was cranked up to 1200 all mounted on a velbon tripod with an off camera trigger. I had the focus set to manual at infinity, the aperture was set to f8 and I let the camera set it's own speed. I hope that answers your question...
