did this happen while you are awake sitting still or sleeping ? Maybe you could wear some if those chicken leg things they give you in hospital. Also tight clothing can do that.
I woke up the other night and my arm was completely numb. It just hung there and swung around as I walked. Actually it was very scary to feel completely dead like that. The colour was normal though and the feeling gradually came back as I swung it around. Must have pinched a nerve in my shoulder ? Right now I am just putting an extra log on the fire so its still burning in the morning. There is a strange car currently driving up and down the road slowing down near peoples houses. Im am okay but just keeping an eye on them incase I have to help a neighbour. Hopefully just some lost hoons from town.

Would only happen when I am standing in one spot but now happing while in bed as well..

A gp will get you straight to a specialist very quickly as these things are serious relating to the spinal nerves .Usually a pinched nerve at L3/4 . I woke one morning and had a numb left leg - saw the GP and the specialist 2 hrs after that. Next day day I had the discectomy/laminectomy has been great ever since.
