That looks absolutely mouthwatering H L!!!!

Bet it tasted great.

Any chance of a bit of a run-down on how you prepped it/cut of meat, marinade etc?

In the last pic, is that a flat bread of some sort? Catching all the "goodness" :p

Cheers,

Billy.

Cooked another roast last weekend, a pre-prepared/on special "mini lamb" roast with garlic and rosemary.

Didn't have to do anything to it except remove it from the deep dished aluminium tray ;)

A cupla spuds and an onion,

Added some of the "ol banksia" for some smokey flavour,

Bit of melted cheese on the peas and some gravy (added later) = :p

Cheers,

Billy.

Scrounge, it was bloody tasty, if I do say so myself.
Finished off the last of it mid-week and it was just as good cold.
;)
I reckon roast lamb and beef sausages are best cold a couple of days on Billy. Have a good one mate. :)

Hi Billy
The cut of meat is boned lamb shoulder.
The flat breads are Gerrys pites. best store bought for souvlaki. You can use any flat bread really.
I follow this thread on the Aussie BBQ forum. ;)
Tells you all you need to know there if you are interested.

Couldn't you use a windscreen wiper motor on the BBQ ? or wouldn't it have enough power?

Thanks for that H L.
Lamb is certainly a great tasting meat.
Was on the bbq forum earlier and stumbled across your post and must say its something I will definitely have to try.
I haven't posted much on there as I find it a bit of an ordeal to upload photo's. Would be great if it were as easy as posting them on this forum.
Cheers,

Billy.

There has been some seriously good looking food on this thread lately.

Here is what I had on Friday. T-Bone with oyster kilpatrick sauce. Sauce has garlic, shallots, Worstershire sauce, a little dash of Chinese oyster sauce, cognac, cream, maple bacon and 10 oysters (I ate 2).

Steak is from a local butcher who grows his own beef (square meaters) and dry ages it.

Was not too bad at all, after a martini to clean the palate, and a bottle of red to wash it down with.

See. I wish I had time to prepare some great food like this Dr.

Hit the spot for me Billy, she put a bit of curry and szechaun with the cooked tomato too !
I love that szechuan, Mrs S does a really nice cheesy lasagna using szechuan too. :p

Geez!! I don't eat that much in a whole day. You must have a very active metabolism.
Still makes me hungry looking at it. Probably need a cuppla more pieces of toast mate.
