Couldn't resist these while in Dawson City, couple of turn of the century handheld gold scales.
They also had a lovely 1890's Yukon mining certificate, thought I'd hold of till I could check on prices but they seem extremely rare.
Not sure about the weights 3 dots for 3 pennyweight. Need to do some more research. The tinned set have cute round weights also stamped W C ??

Teemore,
Wonder if WC stands for Weight Calibrated?
No doubt someone will know and post on here, nice find anyway

Thanks People. :)
Found out about bloody snow and rain on the way back.
Bought it in Albury and tugged it back through The Alpine Way.
Poor old Prado did grunt a bit but apart from a few steep bits,
Hardly knew it was there. :)
Got to have a yarn with another PA Member as well. :) :)

I have one of those, great for touring. Cost about 3 ltr per hundred extra fuel. Fitted a second battery and a big solar panel. Nice in bad weather.

Tath love it, Albury is my ol stomping ground. Did you go back over past Khancoban? Probably did, if you went over Alpine way....boy I haven't seen snow for a few year now. Bet you'll be as snug as a bug in a rug....with your new little camper...good on ya buddy.

Thanks People. :) :)
I was a bit worried about the size of it being a Cruisliner
but it was 20 litres of fuel extra taking in some of the hilliest, Winding
roads in the Country. 140 Klm's of winding twisting and up and down
but It was not a problem.
Now got it setup out in the front yard airing out.
Yes, I bought it for The Gold Bash but I will go down through Melbourne
then up to Bendigo as It is a straighter run than over the Ranges. :)
.
Now to setup the electric brake brake unit for it, 250 Watt Panel and BDC
chargers finally topping it off with a 1kva inverter. :)
Will be happy then. LOL
