Was an exciting but very tiring hunt, back at a local church site i'd previously had success with the exterra at. the three oldest pennies and the old Hp + 1 threepence came out of a 1 metre square area, real deep. :fistpump: :bomb:

That leaves us with the palmer river concentrates. :inlove: Just panned the 1 satchet at this stage and will pan it off again to see if i've missed anything. layful: started seeing gold well before the halfway mark, it was a real challenge to keep the gold in the pan whilst offloading all the black sands. Quite content with the end result, and found the entire process highly enjoyable. Cheers, Brother :Y: erfect:

Sounds like you have plenty of real interesting sites to keep both of you busy. Love the cleaned up Gargoyle stopper, guessing it's from some sort of oil container - quote from Exxon Mobil ("Gargoyle - As early as 1869, Vacuum Oil used a stylized red gargoyle to advertise petroleum-based lubricants for horse-drawn carriages and steam engines".)

No worries, I thought this oil can looked like it might be a good match for the cap you found.

So a second panning with magnifying glasses on to watch for floaters has produced zilch means my panning technique is up to scratch layful: Now if anyone can provide me with a picture of what the tin looks like and info on how to pan or extract it i would be most greatful. O
