Now that's an idea Reeks, not sure the better half would be to keen shifting a foot of wet sand standing knee deep in surf, I get fatigued just thinking about the depth of holes one might need to dig in dry sand let alone turning the big beast loose in the surf.
Cheers, SinHof.

Thanks SS and Danny, went back to the beach at the bottom of the tide and did a fairly thorough grid of the area for one five cent coin; non the less it was a great day's detecting all be it in two parts.
Cheers, SinHof.

Evening Folks,
The CTX3030 has been gathering dust for a while, so it was time to take it out for some exercise at the weekend. In all a rewarding few hours and got the swinging arm and upper body some activity ready for the first trip for 2018 out to the goldfields with the trusty GPZ7000.
Cheers all. SinHof.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, it was good to get away from the back yard re-building rock walls that were badly in need of repairs, heavy lifting did little to help ye old back, non the less a bit of practice for moving rocks out bush.
Cheers, SinHof.

Hi Folks,
Spent a couple of hours this afternoon working the 3030 over last weekends goldie patch and again it did not disappoint, a personal best for a single hunt, pretty happy happy with that. Apart from the coins there was the usual junk targets that one digs up, ring pulls, beer bottle caps you name it.
Cheers, SinHof.
