Be great to see Falcon Heavy fly again. We seem to have had few launches but really there have been quite a few this year.

Coming up on the 5th is the 96th launch of the year.

Orbital Launch no.96 of 202
with planned to send the first ever movie crew to space as Scientific and Educational Project mission "The Challenge", at International Space Station, a Veteran Cosmonaut accompanies two Spaceflight Participants, will be transferred to ISS via #SoyuzMS19

This is the Crew to make a Russian movie at the ISS. Beating America once again in the space race.

Basic plot is someone on the ISS needs surgery to survive re-entry. Sexy , female doctor has to fly up to do the job.

Interesting mission launching 23rd November. The DART, Double Asteroid Redirection Test, mission will launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9.

It will head out to meet up with a binary asteroid, Didymos and it's small moonlet. The spacecraft will impactthe moonlet to see if it's course can be altered.

I guess we won't have to send Bruce Willis up next time.

Big month for human launches. Every craft capable and rated to take humans to space is planning on launching this month. First is the Soyuz launching shortly with an crew to Make a Russian movie in the ISS. Link below.

Virgin is planning another launch.

Captain Kirk is taking a ride with Blue Origin.

China is launching a new crew to their space station.

Have the FAA removed the Grounding of Virgin Galactic as they were grounded after their first flight a month ago..? I haven't seen anything about it...

Yes Virgin are able to fly again. Upper level winds pushed it off course a little but it was still inside the zone.

Boeing Starliner getting embarrassing with their delays. Looks like some of their early missions are being g switched to the Dragon.

India will be sending crewed flights up in a year or so.
 
LUCY is a really interesting mission and the launch window opens Saterday. Over 12 years Lucy will travel to the outer area of our solar system to flyby and collect data on 7 or 8 asteroids. The planning to use gravity assists to travel so far and accurately is astounding.
