Quick detect around an old church

Went out Saturday for a quick swing around a old church was in use from about 1826 - 1964.

Found some nice pre decimals

Will go back later and do a proper search.

Hope to go again this weekend, will have to be an early start has we have 37 deg forecast for the weekend. Hope to find more and local farmer put me on to other area's to try to. Where buildings were but not know, and he said he even found coins in paddocks he has ploughed around the same area!!

So looks like I have a new hunting ground for a while

Thanks guys for the good comments.

The good thing about this place is no trash eg; ring pulls, bottle caps etc just the odd bit of fence wire etc.
Only trash I have found is above ground as in beer cans and bottles and have removed them which the land owner was surprised I did.

He even gave me a few tips on other places to try so that's a plus to.
