The pennys and halves
A large thick early Vic penny ( i thought it was a cartwheel until i cleaned it)
I cant make out the date. Early to mid 1800's anyway
Another interesting lid ( well maybe not that interesting )
The only coin that i scratched.... i nearly choked , until the true date was visible
And here are the silvers
Unfortunately no 1914 florin
But your prediction was pretty damn close :Y:
Ive just secured permission for another site that have been chasing for about 6 months
So im very happy about that, and will be there at sun up to check it out.
It sounds good from the research but only time will tell

Fantastic hunt Sandta, you seem to get a real good mix of dates in your area, makes for some pretty exciting detecting (c'mon sovereign). The most common date for those thick Victorian pennies is 1857, yours appears to be 185? something.
