hi looking for some info very new to all of this , trying to find places around melbourne worth runing a eq 900 over gold would be nice
invested all my money on the 900 so can not afford something like Doug Stone Gold Atlas of Victoria

I strongly agree with mbasko.

Learn to use geovic and you will be able to find your own prospecting spots away from everyone else searching the internet for places to swing a detector.

You won't find virgin ground but you could find a patch that's had less foot traffic and up your odds of getting onto some gold
