So on a day to day basis i work by myself, driving around 8hrs of the day from job to job...

It tends to get a bit lonely and boring and i have often thought how good it would be if i had a traveling /work companion that was also from the goldfields who likes the bush.
:) Two days ago my wish came true.....

Everyone i would like you to meet Nugget my new colleague! All the way from the GT he now has made himself at home on my glove box and he also likes to frequent my centre console when he wants a bit of a tan :)

He's a bit late in the season, for an Xmas spider! That's what we called em as kids.
Can be rare enough now days to even see em! Lucky you mate.

Good travel buddy :)

Also called Jewel Spiders, and are still very common in the GT during the summer months.
Non-poisonious, but their always in your face when detecting in the bush.
Yes they do love getting in your face out there. Especially in the mornings!
