Hi Stan, welcome to the forum. If you are after a bit more depth to help hit on the deeper/older coins, the 10.5" DD coil might be worth a look at, also NEL coils sells a large range for the x-terras including selectable frequency versions (so you don't have to purchase separate coils with single frequencies). If you are after a smaller coil for picking out coins/jewellery in junkier areas, either the 10x5" or 6" coils should help in that department.

Might also pay to keep a lookout for any second hand coils on ebay etc, should save you a few $$$.

Shouldn't matter, the 70 still uses the three frequencies on offer, and looks to be compatible with all common coils used on the x-terra 705.
