Hi guys, i know this is probably trash but how do i spot a real pearl? Is there a way to test it?

yes, a good way to test a pearl is rub it on your teeth, make sure the pearl is clean tho, a real pearl will be like sandpaper it will grip, a fake pearl will be smooth and just slip over your teeth.

Watch a show recently all about pearls......was very interesting.
Back to the question.
It is said that If you soak a pearl in vinegar and it dissolves
Guess what......it is a real pearl.
I wonder how many tools have attempted it with there wives pearls.
I would only try it with my x mother inlaws pearls. As i can't possibly get in anymore shx that i was in when married to her daughter. What was i thinking.
