Hi,
I have been detecting on and off for 30 years all of it solo and trying to teach myself.
Bought a goldseekers 1000? in the 80s then an Explorer 2 in 2003 had a lot of fun but didn't have a lot of patience.
So, now I'm a bit older and have been daydreaming of the fun I had, I bought a Ctx 3030 and would like get back into the Fnq goldfields.
Btw I chose another minelab detector as the Explorer is still going strong.

No gold but plenty of the trash the miners left behind like buttons, pocket knives, remains of the chinese opium tins, some chinese coins and more horse shoe nails than I cared to count.
