WOW, what a path of discovery, that is why Kato is so into this hobby, not only do you not know what will pop up next,
but you have to be part detective to find out what it could be and when it was.

Many times I explain to public that it is not for the 'get rich dreams' it is all about discovery of long lost items,
and what might be found and even possibly returned, more likely preserved and displayed.

I dont think it is all about money for many of us unless it is what we do for a living, and even then there will be keepers for
our own pride and the beauty.

GDA, so good to know you are well onto the path, and not far to go now, great find and sleuthing.

We will have you nick name you - Inspector Clouseau ;) :Y:

Got in a quick afternoon 15 minute dig before the rain settled in and I may have found the spot I have been looking for, lots of targets for next time as the Rain, Wind and Lightning chased us off, Bugger! 1933 Com Halfy, nicked it because of an old house brick.

I was expecting a brown bugger with it reading 36 - 38 but when it came out of the hole 32 using the 705...

Yup you're right, thing was I have been past the same spot over and over never really taking notice and also not even noticing the old Windmill tower.... Go figure...It's going to be a honey hole... :) :Y:

Decided to check out the park again but before I did I hit the beach and within 5 minutes a nice little $8.10 Coin Spill, we didn't stay long at the beach as my son was cold so we hit the Park and nothing much there either....I think I was more worried about my son being cold so wasn't focused too much on the detecting. Always another day/night.

Well looks like I just found myself some virgin ground in the form of an old Cricket Field....A little overgrown but very thin grass so lots of targets, lots of rubbish and a few Goldies for a quick swing this afternoon.

What it used to look like....

What it looks like now.....

And what I found minus the rubbish which were Cans, Cans and more Cans...
