Well jeff, i have only found three and i like them because of the history behind each coin... Someone worked hard for that coin then they lost it... I come along and dig it up and its not lost forever.... So what do you look for when you go detecting?

I just like old coins ,,,, not expecting to get rich or anything . When I find one , I wonder how it was lost ... whether it was a big loss for someone as money was tight back then etc .
I see people getting excited about Florins and was just wondering if I was missing something about their value etc .

And also for someone to lose is is one thing but then people walking past and not seeing it is another. People just het exited because there one of the hardest coins to find because of there size and value back then.

my other finds: pocket watch part button and what i think is a ring made from a brttania shilling if its not a brittania shilling its definatly made from another type of coin.
