It's bloody hard when you lose them, I lost Rusty the wave chasing wonder dog in October last year, I couldn't go through that again so I'm not getting another one, mind you I have been known to say that before, first time I've been dog free for 44 years and Miss Kay bought me the iron Kelpie so I can still sit outside and yap to him while I'm having a beer  https://www.prospectingaustralia.co...74594_img_26122021_094223_800_x_800_pixel.jpg

I feel your pain. I lost my red heeler in october after 15 years. Miss her heaps. I will start looking for another dog soon. My daughter is already asking can we get another catle dog. Problem is the wife wants a staffy and I want another catle dog.

Due to recent dog attacks it looks like many new laws to be placed on owning a Staffy as a restricted dog. I'd stick with the cattle dog personally. ;)

Was not as wet as expected, and now back to just hot and humid....for now!
As for staffys, my girl is an AMSTAFF, and she does not have an aggressive bone in her body. We were playing at the beach once, and a bigger dog took to her, really gave it to her, bit her war and scalp. She never even fought back, she just wondered why it happend to her. I got bit saving her. I will defend the breed, I'm not a fanatic, I bought her from a disabled guy who bred them at the time, I thought I was doing him a favour, but it turned out he did me one, my staffy is a beautiful soul who wouldn't hurt a fly.

And moon

In the background :p when you zoom right out.

I do wonder though, when they show the lights of the capital cities in bright yellow..... what all the huge lights in WA outback are that no one knows about. Certainly food for thought I'd recon.(but at least mental health is still free aye) :p

No argument here Dave and agree has a lot to do with how the dog is brought up :Y: Rotty owner myself, another supposed dangerous dog. Have had five now, with not one ever showing aggression at any time. Statement made was simply to forewarn that owning a Staffy is probably about to become rather more complex to do so. Striped red and yellow muzzles? Niceeee

Sounds like you and your daughter have outvoted your misses Shakergt, I've gotta agree with that cattle dog, like Kelpies, they're a pretty special dog. Cheers mate and good luck with whatever you choose, post a photo when you get it. Dave

Bloody hell must be freezing over! In 22 years of top end living, I've never been this cold here!
Last 3 days have been cold at night and morning. It's 18 deg here but it feels much colder due to the wind. Supposed to drop to 14 overnight for a few days next week. Even during the day it's been a maximum of 28, but feels like 20!
Think I'll buy some ugg boots and a jumper!

That is so funny Dave, maybe a Puffer Jacket. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I must admit I feel colder this year but maybe it’s the weight loss and blood thinners. However, saying that, I do enjoy the cooler temperatures. Cheers Mackka
