We have been getting storms here, mainly southern states of the US. I watched news as they hoisted a car out of a flooded creek...the woman had tried to tell police how to find her but she didn't make it.

Sad news RRD, over here it would be hard to get help in the middle of things while it's still very dangerous too, sometimes circumstances contrive to cause us deadly harm, and the only recourse to help is by the bravery of those at hand and within reach. :|

I'm sure your flooding is much worse...however our SE states have some places like Birmingham, Alabama...cars out in the street with water up to the roof edge or where the window top edge would be.
