Very true mate, sometimes prospecting for new spots can really pay well and lead you into thinking of a whole lot of new sites to try.

It is GP, nearly half full again already. Give the goldies a good go mate, the Deus is the perfect goldie vacuum for trashy areas.

Hit North Steyne beach for a few hours today, it's still pretty cleaned out since I've hit it a few times this summer but there were some finds to be had, ended up with $16.50, an Edward VII half penny from a recently eroded cut and a tiny little gold ring (1.3g, 12:05 TID), there is a hallmark but it's difficult to see, most likely 9k going by the colour of it. Anyway glad I got some gold as they usually come in 2's and 3's for me so hopefully over the next few weeks I'll get some more.
