The Woakwine Cutting???

Deepseeker, you are correct. Woakwine cutting was made using a D7 tractor, some judicious use of dynamite and a lot of determination. The drain created 1000s of acres of swamp land into valuable grazing land.
Great little lookout and rest stop just of the highway gives a good view of the cutting and land retrieved.
