Considering selling my gofind 60 to buy a at gold mainly for our trip next year so the missus has something to swing there also i would use the at gold for coins at parks aswell just want to see whats peoples thorts on the at gold

at is great on gold and coins well worth it if you want a coin detector

Great coin machine but a bit on the noisy side on hot ground. More suited to mullock heaps where the ground is a bit milder.

The AT Gold is now $1389. I think the Nokta Fors Gold + would be worth looking into. $1330 and comes with 2 coils.
Should be better balanced as well with the rear mount box.

I have found the AT Gold great on gold coins, I am yet to hit an area that produces nuggets though hope to find a few spots for a christmas camp where a vlf will do ok.
