this is a short length of exhaust tubing the same size as the pump blocked at one end with alength of small diameter pipe welded into the side over an inlet hole on the up stroke the gold if any is drawn up the small pipe and falls into the sump eg the large pipe the down stroke will not force the gold back the attachment is held to the pump with a short length of hose clamped to the pump only the attachment is forced into the
hose cleanup remove attachment keeping it upright tip contents into pan

take a bit of wire with you to clear blockages

you could slightly crimp the end down on the small tube so its a little bit smaller right at the tip which will reduce blockages

Good luck with it, as HeadsUp says, take a bit of 8 guage wire to clear your blockages!

Just my 2 bobs worth,
it will clog up every pump stroke with out a 3mm mesh restriction on end of tube
it is maybe 200mm too short
it will blow off on the return stroke with out a 2nd clamp.
it will take time pull apart to clean and possibly drive you mad in the mean time.

looks good just won't work well enough to be successful.

Will work ok on very small crevices that have been manually cleaned and just need a final suck up.
