Hi everyone. Finally joined the forum so I thought I'd better introduce myself. I used to detect in the 1980's as a teenager with my dad using a rented Whites Coinmaster (some of you might remember those). Life got busy with other things but I never lost the bug. After years of wanting to get back into detecting I finally purchased a GPX 4500 last year and have a couple of (very) small bits to show for it so far. I'm sure many of you would agree it's great to get out into the bush and any gold is a bonus, even if it doesn't pay for the fuel.
