Where can you find gems near adelade been to mt crawford but cant seem to find anything aby help will be good

Personally I have no idea. But..... My 1965 edition of "Collecting Australian Gemstones". Angaston - Opal. Barossa ranges - Sapphire, Topaz, Chalcedony. Williamstown - Chalcedony. Victor Harbour - Diamond??, Topaz. Yunta - Quartz (Amethyst).
