Hi guys, The Mad Rockhounder here! Just wondering if anyone knows any places to find chalcedony and agate or other gems near Caboolture other than Redcliffe. I am always looking for new spots to rockhound and am trying to find some spots a lot closer to home. I have seen a post where someone has found amethyst, thunder eggs, geodes and more in the far upper Caboolture area. If anyone had any information on that, that would be amazing! I’m only a rookie but have being into rockhounding for a few years now and I’m only 15. I would love to learn some new things and I know I can trust the amazing community around me of rockhounds.
