Went out for a cheeky 4 hour session today with the sdc. Half this nuggies were found in one rock sitting on top of an old tailings pile. I had to crush the rest up with the dolly at home. More pics to come.

Yeah Gold dig. Pulled almost 2 grams out of that rock with a total of 31 subies. The rock was only about two fist sizes as well. I found two other rocks with gold em within 2m of this one. I was rushing abit as I had to take the kids to a birthday party. By the way that turbo pan you gave to a Baylee works a treat.

after been a few full on weeks with my older boy dislocating fracturing his elbow and ending up down in Ballarat to get an op done, then my appointments with specialists down in Melbourne I went for a swing with a mate on Thursday and Friday.., Friday I went to an area that I know a good amount of gold had been found by a fella that every gold prospector knows of and a good friend. I wasn't expecting to find anything but I did.. was only a small bit but was pretty happy. then me and a mate found a spot that looked really promising but nothing was found... besides a container I found on a track with gold dust in it lol.. we took off to an area I had found gold before hand and I picked up 2 from that spot and my mate found 1.. my bits come to 0.5 lol

the Friday we hit the bush again going to another spot I found gold few years back, we were getting ready when my mate turns around and said "were is my detector (his 5000)" he realised he had left it at his block in his van.. after I stopped laughing I said "I can understand leaving your pick or your battery but not your detector lol". it was lucky he had his SDC in the back of his car.. we went off swinging and over the radio he says "I just busted my booster lead".. I replied "its not your day mate by the looks" (still giggling about him leaving his 5000 behind). anyway I had a nice signal that turned out to be a 1.3g, we ended up going back for a break and a chat at the cars.. we took off and I was working around the spot were I found that nugget and down below on the bottom of he hill I got a nice drop tone signal.. after taking about 3" off it was nice and loud and still in the ground.. after digging for a bit I was thinking this bit was going to be 10g up in weight as the signal and depth where mouth drooling stuff.. finally it was out and turned out to be a bit just shy of 5g.. we thought it was going to be bigger than that but still happy.. so for that 4hrs I picked up over 6g.. my poor mate didn't get a thing.. poor bugger..i still laugh when I think about that day tho..

Might be worth collecting a few buckets of rock mate. Glad to see th pan getting colour for you mate lol
