Thanks Chewy, thanks Tryhard, not quite the finds you had, what a collection of nugs! Stru, the flies are little F***ers but the good ole fly net under the hat keeps em away. Yes it is warming up, no consistency though, 34 degrees yday and 18 today. I'm looking forward to seeing if i can pull more from that spot, well worked but obviously not well enough!

Got these yellow suckers the other day.
Gpx 5000 coupled with an 11" mono coil.
Been to this area a few times and last time I only got one.
Just goes to show that perseverance pays off, well sometimes. ;)
 
Some of them look a little squeezed Bob,... maybe(ancient glaciation ? ). :D

I wouldn't know mate as I am not a geologist.
The big nugget there has got quartz through it and is very jagged which suggests a reef near by.
 
hi Guys , my first post here , been detecting for about 2 yrs now , I live in south Australia .

I detect mainly at Maryborough,go there twice a year , autumn and spring.

Done ok last time , got 35.8grms , but the best nugget was an 18.6grm, biggest I have ever got , thought I would show it to you
