Some finished photos of a specci i recently found on my trip West. https://www.prospectingaustralia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=19559&p=3
I have had it in Alibrite since i found it 6 weeks ago and all the host rock has now dissappeard :Y:
It was not the most visually appealing nugget when i dug it up, there is a small bit of gold showing at the very top and had a tiny bit sticking out the bottom which broke off

It was always going to break up when the host rock was removed but happy with how it came out in the display container

And the best thing, it came from someone else's unfilled hole.
I usually have a swing in any old detector holes i come across and over the spoils but the targets i have found previous are just the junk which must have originally been there. I dont mind doing my bit to clean the junk up so was surprised when this time paid off.
It was a strange, faint signal probrably because the gold was so wirery :Y:

Out with a mate today and he got a specimen from a hole he has detected before with his Macro Gold Racer. When he had finished I went over it with the 5000 and got a specimen with a small wire like piece of gold. Decided we would use the SDC to chech the hole and surrounding debris.
We pulled another nine specimens out for a total of about a gram. The SDC found gold where the 12" Evo could nor see it they are truly remarkable.

Hi BillS ,
Great pics and extremely interesting what the SDC could do , I have a lot of fun with mine . Interested to know what settings you prefer on the SDC . The thrill of the chase , you can't beat it and we're in the bush doing it .

Cheers
