Couple of the finds from last week. The speci was almost totally covered in stone but starting to clean up nicely now.

I almost threw the small bit in the bottom of the first pic in my pocket because it looked like a boot tac.

Thanks BW and yes its been soaking for a bit over a week now. May just keep it in there until the stone is all gone. Ill post a pic once its done.

Got out in the triangle Friday. All found with 11" commander on the 4500. The specimen in the centre was a throw out right in the edge of where the old timers stopped working.

4 hours with my SDC 2300. I think this is what they call a dream run.

2017 QLD GOLD.

I realised something though, the more gold your find, the more gold you want. Can never get enough.

Yes the SDC is an amazing machine. Next best thing to a Z. Once I swing over a 7 ounce nugget then I will upgrade. Can't substitute portability for depth.

Oh, and these were all found on default setting 2 Normal. With headphones.

Also love how the SDC screams its head off for even a tiny staple. Talk about cleaning up Australia. lol

Mate you are smashing it :Y: if your picking up that with the SDC I'd be buying a ZED :Y: and revisiting that location.
