Has anyone ever explored the turquoise deposits around Narooma? I was having a look at a map yesterday and came across it. Supposedly poor quality according to mining reports.

Can anyone tell me what this is? To me it looks like copper in it metal form, at least in colour. It was all through a big chunk of very mineralised quartz.
