    great project rickrofe,, gotta get me one of them circle cutters for the plasma , save looking around for a suitable template , how did you decide on the optimum speed of the shaft or are you going to try it and see first ? i see its about 1-1 on the pullies ,is the motor 2400 rpm or so? flash

    hey golddig ,have only been out a cple times with the tecta since I posted the pics of the 3 itty bits a while back , to no avail. yes the ground must be drying up we haven't had much rain at all in these parts ,next thing will be too hot and will only want to dry blow in the shade preferably...

    yea wasn't really suggesting you use it that fine it comes in various grades and I reckon a sweet spot could be found with it, little sag, very long lasting ;)

    when I was looking out for material I tried to find the strongest I could with the smallest diameter of thread , with the hole size I wanted , the thicker the thread/cotton etc is the less holes there are per square inch so creates more resistance . I did find 2 types am happy with at spotlight...

    Hi , nitejar ,like the look of the simplicity with the 2 rollers on the wiper motor ,I'm assuming it just pushes the bellows up as rotates ,is there a spring on the bellows at all to pull the bellows down faster or does it just rely on gravity /weight to do the job got to be the easiest...

    any chance of setting up a feeder /hopper of some sort ? I appreciate you have to moniter the feed rate closely though , or at least a flare /funnel on the in shute? just looked a bit tedious/pokey is all , ;)
